Publication Ethics
Journal of Nano Materials Impact (NanoMatImp) adheres to a robust ethical policy and publication malpractice statement, which is firmly rooted in the Code of Conduct and Best-Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors as stipulated by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in 2011. This policy aligns with the standards established by the NanoMatImp Editorial Board. All individuals associated with NanoMatImp, including readers, authors, reviewers, and editors, are expected to comply with these ethical guidelines. The ethical policy of NanoMatImp also guides the selection of research papers or articles for publication in the relevant issue. For additional information on publishing and ethical guidelines, please visit the official website of COPE.
Human Subjects: Any research involving human subjects must comply with the Code of Ethics of the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki. Authors are required to include a statement in their manuscripts confirming that informed consent was obtained from all human research participants. The privacy rights of human participants must be respected at all times. Ethical approval must be secured before conducting the research for all studies. Authors should be prepared to provide the journal editorial office with additional information upon request.
Animal Studies: All animal studies should adhere to the ARRIVE reporting guidelines (PLOS Biology) for scientific research design, analysis, and reporting. Authors should explicitly state in their submitted manuscripts that they have followed these guidelines. Characteristics of animals that may influence results, including sex, must be described. We also recommend following the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) Guidelines for the Euthanasia of Animals (2020), which provide guidance on best practices for the anesthesia and euthanasia of animals.
