Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The manuscript has not been published previously, and it is not currently under consideration by another journal (unless an explanation has been provided in the ‘Comments to the Editor’ section).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Articles that have been accepted for publication in NanoMatImp are safeguarded under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC). This ensures that the intellectual property rights of the authors are protected while allowing the wider scientific community to access and build upon their work.
Before an article is published, the authors are required to sign a NanoMatImp copyright form. This is a standard procedure that transfers certain rights from the co-authors to the journal, while still retaining significant rights for the co-authors.
All co-authors involved in the article must agree to the submission, sign the copyright release forms, and consent to be part of any correspondence between NanoMatImp and the authors. This is to ensure transparency and mutual understanding between all parties involved.
NanoMatImp encourages the use of its published articles for personal or educational purposes. Permission is granted, free of charge, to print or create digital copies of whole or parts of a NanoMatImp article. However, these copies must not be produced or distributed for profit. The spirit of open access is to disseminate knowledge, not to monetize it.
It’s important to note that while NanoMatImp articles are freely available, the copyright of certain parts of the work that are not owned by NanoMatImp must be respected. Always ensure to check the ownership of the content before using it.
